Meet the Public Scheme

Purposes as follows:

1. to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
2. to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
3. to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.

“Meet the Public Scheme” will start from 19 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Friday at North District Community Centre [Address: G/F., 2 Lung Wan Street, Sheung Shui] and Luen Wo Hui Community Hall [Address: G/F., No.9, Wo Mun Street, Luen Wo Hui, Fanling]. DC members will be on duty in pairs.  The duty roster for 2024 is as follows:
