Meet the Public Scheme

Purposes as follows:

to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.

The “Meet the Public Scheme” of the Sai Kung District Council will start from 10 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Wednesday at the conference room of Hang Hau Community Hall at G/F, Sai Kung Tseung Kwan O Government Complex, 38 Pui Shing Road, Hang Hau, Tseung Kwan O, New Territories (Tseung Kwan O) or activity room 2 of The Sai Kung Jockey Club Town Hall at 8 Chan Man Street, Sai Kung, New Territories (Sai Kung). If the Wednesday of the meeting day falls on a public holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day. SKDC members will be on duty in pairs. The duty roster for 2024 is as follows:

Reservations can be made with the Sai Kung District Council Secretariat at 3740 5318 up to 12 noon one working day before the meeting.
