Welcome to the Southern District Council’s homepage.

The Third Southern District Council of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has been established on 1 January 2008. We are committed to reflect residents’ views to the government on local affairs, public facilities and services as well as territory-wide issues.

The Southern District Council has undertaken to continue with the running and funding of community activities with a view to improving the environmental facilities, protecting the pleasant and tranquil environment for living in the district and having a place where the residents work and live comfortably for the enjoyment of different lifestyles.

With the rapid advance of information technology, the requirements for information have been increasing.  To live up to the community’s demand, this homepage has been set up to facilitate the residents in a quick search on the Internet for the new moves and updated material of the Council.
