Meet the Public Scheme

Purposes as follows:

  1. to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
  2. to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
  3. to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.

“Meet the Public Scheme” will start from 15 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Monday at Tuen Mun Government Offices or Community Halls in Tuen Mun.  The addresses are listed in the Duty roster of DC members.  DC members will be on duty in pairs.  The duty roster for 2024 is as follows:

Appointments can be made at 2451 3245 with the Tuen Mun District Council Secretariat up to 12:00 noon of the meeting date.
