Welcome to the homepage of the Tuen Mun District Council (TMDC) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

        The District Council is a consultative body of the HKSAR Government.  As part of this consultative machinery, TMDC makes every effort to provide the Government with its views on the enhancement of community development in Tuen Mun and the improvement of the living environment for local residents.  With the inauguration of the newly elected District Council on 1 January 2008, TMDC and its committees and working groups will continue to reflect the views of local residents to the relevant Government departments and keep them abreast of their expectations.

        The establishment of this website aims at giving local residents as well as those from the other districts a deeper understanding of TMDC.  In this website, public can have access to the information of all TMDC members, dates, agenda and minutes of meetings of the TMDC and its committees, activities organised or funded by TMDC, and the schedule of the “Meet-the-Public” Scheme.
