Terms of Reference

(A) To advise on traffic and transport planning and programming as well as the progress of traffic and transport projects.

(B) To advise on priorities for surveys and studies as well as implementation of traffic and transport projects within the district.

(C) To assess the public transport service in the district in terms of adequacy, efficiency and quality and to make recommendations for improvements.

(D) To give concern to the traffic, road safety and parking problems in the district and to make recommendations for improvements.

(E) To promote and co-ordinate road safety campaigns within the district with a view to enhancing the road safety awareness of the people living or working in the district.
