2019 Spring Cantonese Opera Show

- Co-presented by the Working Group on Central & Western District Council Affairs, Central & Western District Office and Tung Sin Tan, and co-organised by the four Kaifong Associations in Central & Western District, the '2019 Spring Cantonese Opera Show' was held on 27 February 2019 to celebrate the Lunar New Year with residents through Cantonese opera. Ming Chee Sing Chinese Opera Troupe was invited to present four excerpt performances in the afternoon and evening respectively. Each audience was given a well wishing bowl as souvenir, with a blessing for wealth and prosperity.

- The Central and Western District Council members are invited to visit the elderly service units in the Central and Western district to listen to the elders' opinions and to strengthen the linkage between the local elderly service units and the District Council.

Central and Western District Outdoor Educational Programme 2019

- Outdoor Educational Programme 2019 was held on 2 - 6, 9 December 2019, in which Primary 2 students from 9 schools in the District participated. Through observing seashore and marine animals, visiting animals such as penguins and pandas, as well as having lessons and games, the programme aims to develop students' knowledge on natural resources and increase their awareness on environmental protection and sustainable development.
