Signature Project Scheme ( Kwun Tong District )
The Government introduced the Signature Project Scheme (SPS) in 2013. Under the Scheme, a one-off sum of $100 million has been reserved for each of the 18 districts to implement one to two projects. The Kwun Tong District Council selected two Signature Projects in the same year, namely the Construction of Lift Tower at Shung Yan Street and Music Fountains at Kwun Tong Promenade through a bottom-up approach. The successive commissioning of the two Signatures Projects in 2019 and 2021 signifies the successful completion of the SPS in Kwun Tong.
