(b)  Late submissions will not be entertained;
(c) In the case of a project jointly organised with other organisations, the applicant organisation is required to specify the names of all co-organisers in the application form for submission together with the “Consent Letter of Co-organiser”.  SDC shall have the right to reject applications without “Consent Letter of Co-organiser” attached thereto;
(d) SDC shall have the right to defer the consideration of a funding application to a future meeting as appropriate having regard to factors such as its financial position and the implementation date of the project concerned;
(e)  If necessary, the representative(s) of the applicant organisation will be invited to attend the meetings of SDC or its committees, whichever is appropriate, to brief Members/Committee Members on project details and respond to their enquiries accordingly;
(f)  The grantee must not accept the quotations provided by their contractors and indicate the SDC sponsorship in the publicity materials of the project concerned unless the funding approval letter has been obtained from SDC, failing which such expenses incurred may not be reimbursed;
(g) Subject to Section 3.2 of the “Guidelines on Application for Southern District Council Funds”, the offices of Legislative Council (LegCo) Members or SDC Members, political parties or organisations are not eligible to apply for SDC Funds.  Also, the approved projects should not be involved in the promotion of the aforesaid bodies.  The Finance and Vetting Committee (FVC) under SDC resolved that reference should be made to the political affiliations of LegCo Members and DC Members in determining whether an applicant organisation was a political party/organisation or not.  Organisations concerned must not apply for SDC Funds; and
(h) To show respect for intellectual property rights, if the performance of musical pieces is required during an approved project, the organiser should apply for a One-off Musical Event Permit from the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong (CASH) and a Short Term Licence for Public Performance of Sound Recordings and/or Music Videos from the Hong Kong Recording Industry Alliance Limited (HKRIA) respectively.  For details, please visit the websites of CASH (http://www.cash.org.hk) and HKRIA (http://www.hkria.com).
