Purposes as follows:
- to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
- to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
- to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.
"Meet the Public Scheme" will start from 18 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Thursday at one of the community halls/community centres in Sham Shui Po. DC members will be on duty in pairs. The duty roster for March to June 2024 is as follows:

Operational Arrangements
Appointments to meet with the DC members on duty can be made at 2150 8100 with the Sham Shui Po District Office up to 12:00 noon one working day before.
