Meet the Public Scheme

Purposes as follows:

to provide more opportunities for District Council (‘DC’) members to get in touch with local residents or people working in the district;
to gain thorough understanding of the opinions and problems faced by citizens through directly getting in touch with the local residents, and to handle or refer their complaints or requests for assistance; and
to enhance public awareness and solicit public support for Government policies.

“Meet the Public Scheme” will start from 17 January 2024 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on every Wednesday (If that Wednesday is a public holiday, it will be postponed to the next working day) at the Main Conference Room, 2/F., Tsuen Wan Multi-storey Carpark Building, 174-208 Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, N.T. DC members will be on duty in pairs. The duty roster for January to June 2024 is as follows:
