Welcome to the Yuen Long District Council homepage.

Yuen Long District Council is constituted under the District Councils Ordinance (Cap 547) for the purpose of advising the Government on district affairs, promoting recreational and cultural activities, and environmental improvements.  Established on 1 January 2020, the sixth term of Yuen Long District Council of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has come into operation.

This portal is the gateway to Yuen Long District Council.  It provides an introduction to the district, information related to the meetings of District Council, and updates on District Council activities, with a view to encouraging residents’ participation in the community and promoting public involvement in district affairs.
