Motion: “The Council supports the implementation of universal suffrage for the Chief Executive Election in 2017 in accordance with the Basic Law and Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, so that over five million eligible voters in Hong Kong could elect the next CE through “one person, one vote”; in this connection, the Council calls for active participation from the community in the second round consultation on constitutional reform and urges the Legislative Council to pass the constitutional reform package, thereby taking an important step forward in the constitutional development of Hong Kong.”
