cross-boundary transport hub which is easily accessible and connected to
the urban areas by the West Rail and Tai
Lam Tunnel. The relocation of some of the offices in the three
government office buildings to Yuen Long will certainly help promote the
development of Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai, increase job opportunities,
boost the
local economy and facilitate cross-boundary interaction. This Council,
therefore, urges the Government to consider relocating some of the
offices with a view to promoting the community building and economic
development of Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai as well as increasing job
opportunities.?/a>*
